The daily specials are where its at here. The stuffed bell peppers were the best I've ever had. Gumbo is tasty too. Its awesome to have this kind of restaurant on my way to
work.

OMG!!!!!!! FRERET ST PO BOYS & DONUTS,Has the BEST GUMBO and POBOYS In New Orleans . A true GEM on Freret st . Check them out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have visited Freret Street about 10-15 times. It is a solid restaurant, with GOOD FOOD. Roast Beef PoBoy rivals any restaurant in New Orleans. Bacon burger and club salad are
also favorites. Prices are good for the portion sizes. Customers rave about the daily specials, so if you are unsure, start there. Staff is friendly, but could be more attentive. Service is somewhat
slow, but wait is no more than a Parkway Tavern, etc. EVERYTHING I have tried on the menu has been tasty. Call in for take out though... not many seats in the joint.If for no other reason, you should
try it because they have the best HONEY BUN in the city, bar none!
